Matthew Jeffs
Matthew Jeffs brings 25 years of environmental consulting experience across Queensland and Australia — working on all sides of the table: as an in-house environmental manager within industry, as a principal consultant, and in close coordination with regulators and government infrastructure delivery programs.
Over his career he has directed contaminated land programmes across national infrastructure portfolios, managed environmental approvals for major civil and industrial projects, and served as client-side environmental project manager on remediation, asset disposal, and infrastructure delivery programs. He has delivered projects across legacy gasworks, LPG infrastructure, power stations, transport corridors, and commercial property — spanning investigation, regulatory approval, contractor management, and validation closure.
Matthew holds a CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) and has delivered more than 5,000 commercial drone flights across Queensland's industrial sector — a capability he integrates directly with environmental assessment, not as a separate service.

We provide services under Emjay Technologies for the full range of environmental consulting and project management services. For high-risk remediation projects where asset protection is a material consideration, work is delivered through Contamination Services Australia (CSA), a subsidiary of the Emjay Services Trust.
